President Faure condenms heinous act of terrorism in Istanbul nightclub

Following the massacre which took place in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey at the Reina nightclub which claimed 39 lives the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr Danny Faure expressed deep sorrow on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“This act of terror was aimed to instill fear and perpetuate a warped ideology of hate. The Republic of Seychelles condemns in the strongest terms all acts of terrorism especially during this festive period,” said President Faure.

“The thoughts and prayers of the Seychellois people are with the families of the victims as well as with Turkey in these darkest of moments,” reiterate President Faure.
