Capacity Building Program for Officials of the Investment Promotion National Agency – ‘ANPI-Gabon’, Tunis (5th to 16th December 2016)

Within the framework of the institutional support offered by the Arab Bank for the Development of Africa “BADEA”, the Tunisian Foreign Investment Promotion Agency “FIPA-Tunisia” ( and the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation ” ATCT ” hosted, on Monday 5th December 2016, 13 Gabonese agents for a training program entitled Capacity Building for Agents of the Investment Promotion National Agency – ‘ANPI-Gabon’.

The official opening of the training took place in the presence of Mrs. Marcelle Bertrance MBENOAME ETSELLAH, Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Gabon in Tunisia, Mr. Borni EL SALHI, General Director of ATCT and M Beligh Ben Soltane, Director of International Marketing and Communication at FIPA-Tunisia.

The training course started with a presentation by M. Khalil Laabidi, Director General of FIPA-Tunisia, on FDI promotion strategy (realities and prospects) and the role played by investment promotion agencies in improving the image of the country and attracting FDIs.

A second presentation by Mr. Beligh Ben Soltane covered the theme of the development and implementation of international marketing strategies and the contribution to market diversification.

The training will be conducted over a two-week period from 05th to 16th December 2016. Experts from FIPA-Tunisia, APII and CEPEX, as well as stakeholders from the private sector, will share their experience and insight in the best economic promotion strategies. The program also includes working visits to Tunisian institutions and agencies and to different regions of the country.
