Africa! Community Award honors African initiatives in UK for the first time

Participate now and until 1st December on :

For the first time in UK MoneyGram sponsors the “Africa! Community Award”.

Not only associations can apply, individuals and companies can take part as well – if they sustainably support the African community in the UK or implement aid projects in Africa from the United Kingdom. The winners will not only gain extra publicity but also will win MoneyGram sponsorships with a total value of £3000*.

The contest also exists in France and in Germany, where we celebrate the second edition this year.

There are more than 700 African associations in United Kingdom. In addition, there are companies and individuals that sustainably support social, cultural and athletic causes. You can find anything from dance groups to athletic clubs – from integrative cultural events to aid organizations. Now, we reward this wide and diverse range of commitment once more.
Simply fill out the registration form on until the 1st of December 2018 and be part of the awards! A ceremony will then be held in London in December.

Prizes will be awarded to two winners in each of the following categories:

  • Sports
  • Social commitment/ Education
  • Companies
  • Culture

A five-member jury consisting of representatives from the African community and one representative from MoneyGram will determine the winners.

Good luck!

 * The four first places receive MoneyGram sponsoring amounting to £500 in the four categories, and the four second places are promoted with £250 per category.
